How do I connect my calendar?

Go to Settings and click on "Connect Google Calendar" or "Connect Microsoft Calendar" in the Calendar Connections section. You'll be redirected to authorize calbot.ai to access your calendar.

How do I create a booking page?

From your Dashboard, click "New Event Type" to create a new booking page. Set your availability, duration, and other preferences. Once created, you can share your booking link with others.

How do I set up Zoom meetings?

Connect your Zoom account in Settings by clicking "Connect Zoom" in the Zoom Connection section. Once connected, new bookings will automatically include Zoom meeting links.

Can I reschedule or cancel bookings?

Yes! Both hosts and invitees can reschedule bookings using the reschedule link provided in the confirmation email. Hosts can also cancel bookings from their bookings page.

How does availability detection work?

When you connect your calendar, calbot.ai checks for conflicts before showing available time slots. This prevents double-bookings and ensures that only your truly free times are offered to invitees.

What happens to my data if I delete my account?

When you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Calendar connections are immediately disconnected. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

Is calbot.ai free to use?

Yes! calbot.ai is currently free to use. We may introduce premium features in the future, but we will always maintain a free tier for basic scheduling needs.

How do I change my booking page URL?

You can customize your username in Settings. Your booking pages will be accessible at https://calbot.ai/your-username/event-slug.

Common Issues

Calendar not syncing?

  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting your calendar in Settings
  • Make sure you've granted the necessary permissions (Calendar.ReadWrite)
  • Check that your calendar provider (Google/Microsoft) service is working

Not receiving booking notifications?

  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Verify your email address is correct in Settings
  • Add support@calbot.ai to your email contacts

Zoom connection failed?

  • Make sure you're using a Zoom account (not just a guest)
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting Zoom in Settings
  • Verify your Zoom account is active and in good standing

Availability times not showing correctly?

  • Check that your timezone is set correctly in Settings
  • Review your event type's availability rules
  • Ensure your minimum notice period isn't filtering out all slots
